Archivist

Discover what plugins servers are running, track version and software changes, and browse a community-built database of Minecraft server data.

How it works

Automatic detection and collection

The mod reads data that the server sends to the client: plugins, channel names, etc. Each detection carries a confidence score so you know how reliable it is.

Optional Uploading

Every user who wants to contribute to the database can do so by requesting an API key on the website. It's optional.

Getting started

Install the mod

Requires Fabric API on Minecraft 1.21.X. Drop the .jar in your mods folder.

Play normally

Join any server. The mod collects data in the background and logs it locally. Press Z to open the Archivist GUI.

Optionally sync your data

Configure API endpoints in the in-game GUI or config file to share data. This is optional -- the mod works fully offline.

Browse the database

Search servers, view detected plugins with confidence scores, and track changes over time.
